I Make The Best Chicken and Dumplings in The South

I’m here to apologize to y’all. And to y’alls mommas and grandmommas. Because I make the best chicken and dumplings in the south.

My chicken and dumplings are so good that it’s almost July in Alabama and I still craved it hard enough to make. My chicken and dumplings are so good that one bowl will make you wanna take a 2 hour afternoon nap and dream about having more. My chicken and dumplings can kick anybody’s chicken and dumplings’s ass. It’s 100% homemade, from scratch, and all organic, local ingredients. It takes about three hours. Oh, but it’s worth it.

I have traveled far and wide tasting chicken and dumplings in restaurants and in homes, and I can confidently assert that mine is the best you’ll ever taste. I’ve also tried gumbo, another favorite dish, in restaurants far and wide and I can’t say the same for it. My gumbo isn’t as good as the gumbo from Five Sisters Blues Cafe in Pensacola. It’s the roux. Can’t figure it out. So, I’m not just talking the talk. This is my specialty. This is my comfort food. Chicken and Dumplings is the one dish I can be this confident about.

And you know what else? It’s even better the next day. So if any of y’all are in Auburn and wanna see if I’m just talking the talk, I invite y’all to come over and have a bowl. Cuz I always make enough to feed a party of 12.
